Good morning! How many times have you started a project with something in mind and your end result doesn't look anything like the plan you originally began with? This little card is one of those happy accidents! When I started, it was supposed to look entirely different than it turned out. I won't bore you with all the sad details, but I took a few detours along the way. I like how it turned out, however, and hope you will too!
I began with a cardbase of Riding Hood Red and added a layer of pattern paper from the Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper pack (I inked the edges with Old Olive Ink). The beautiful Christmas Tree from Snow Swirled, and the sentiment, are stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool. A little snip of Riding Hood Red 3/8" Taffeta ribbon is tied across the Whisper White cardstock to separate the two images and a small bow is tied on. This is mounted on another piece of DSP which has been scalloped on both long edges with the Scallop Edge Punch. It's certainly not difficult but I like the end result and the colors are oh, so Christmas!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day, everyone!
Blessings, Gretchen

I just love this card! I will case it for sure if that's okay with you? TFS! Jeannie
