Good morning, everyone! Rarely do I CASE (or borrow) a project from someone else without changing it out significantly, but when I saw this beautiful idea on Patty Bennett's blog, I just had to try it. This card uses the fabulous Manhattan Flowers Textured Impressions Die and the Big Shot, a little bit of cardstock, and some ribbon, that's basically it. I decided to create a set of cards that I can give away to friends using Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal and Lovely Lilac. I did change
out Patty's idea just a bit by adding a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to the inside and stamping it with all 4 pastel colors of ink, using the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set. You run Cardstock Vellum through the Big Shot, using the impression die and then cut out the top of the image. I stamped the sentiment, from Elegant Cheer, in Black Stazon Ink. The Satin Ribbon along the side is not only beautiful but also functional as it hides the SNAIL adhesive that I used to adhere the vellum to the Cardstock. This card is so lovely and so quick. Perfect for Easter, weddings, birthdays, bridal showers, any spring occasion. Thanks, Patty, for your great idea!

I am fortunate enought to live not too far from Patty, so I went to her house and made this card on Saturday, but I love your color choices, the bright colors make the embossed vellum really pop. Gorgeous!
