Catalog CASE Contest Winner!

WOW! I want to thank everyone who played along with my New Catalog CASE Contest! There were some gorgeous projects submitted and I enjoyed looking at each and every one! Here are some of my favorites ...

  

There were so many beautiful entries to choose from, it was definitely difficult picking just one for the prize package but my daughter and I finally decided upon this gorgeous card created by Pat of Tucson, Arizona! I had to reach up and close my jaw when I saw her beautiful CASE of the card on page 142 of the 2011-2012 IDB&C! It's amazing Pat, and so are you! Please send me your mailing address and I'll get your prize package in the mail toot-sweet!

A New Catalog CASE with new In Colors!

 

Hello everyone and welcome to Inspiration in Action! I've got another CASE from the new 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog for you today! Don't forget ... I've got a little CASE contest going. Click on the graphic above to see the original post and ready all the rules! I hope you'll play along with me!

Now for today's card! I cased this from the Card on page 102 of the catalog (click on small photo to view it larger).

I used all the new 2011-2013 In Colors for this card -- Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder! The stamp sets are Every Little Bit, Curvy Verses and Confetti.

Other embellishments and supplies include the Big Shot, the Square Lattice Impressions Folder, the 1 3/8" Square Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Write Markers, Bakers Twine, and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Cute, eh? And oh so easy when you CASE the ideas from the IDB&C.

New Catalog CASE Contest!

 Now that the new Idea Book and Catalog is FINALLY here, why not join me in a fun little Case Contest!

 

There are so many beautiful projects in the new catalog -- after all, it is an IDEA BOOK as well as a catalog! So, let's share some ideas!

 

The rules are simple -- select one project from the new IDBC and make it your own -- change the colors, stamp sets, embellishments, paper, etc. BUT make sure it still bears SOME resemblance to the original project.

 

 

Here's the rules, please follow them!

 

1. Post your project on your blog or another public forum, identifying it as the INSPIRATION IN ACTION CASE CONTEST. Be sure and identify the project and page number in the 2011-2012 IDBC that you are casing or, better yet, include a photo of the cased catalog project. Tell us what you changed to make the project your own.
2. Provide a link on your blog post back to this post and invite others to play along
3. Make sure and include your link at the bottom of this post so that everyone can see your challenge card!
4. The deadline for submission is noon (Central time) on July 15th -- the linking tool will close at that time.

I will select one winner from all the submissions and that lucky person will win a fabulous PRIZE PACKAGE which includes an Assorted Pack of the new In Color Cardstock (Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Island Indigo), samples of the new In Color 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon and Polka Dot Brads as well as some 6x6" samples of some of the new Designer Series Papers. WOW -- it's all so new I don't even have photos yet!

In order to win, you need to follow the directions closely. I'll be checking each submission and those that don't follow the directions will be disqualified! This is going to be fun! I hope you'll join with me! Remember, you've got almost 2 weeks to play along. And, you can enter more than once. Each entry needs to have it's own blog post! If you have questions, e-mail me!

Now, speaking of CASED projects, here's my first CASE of the new IDBC. The little photo on the left is my inspiration from page 157 of the IDBC.

I kept the stamp sets the same (I {Heart} Hearts and Word Play), but changed out the colors to Rose Red, Lucky Limeaide and Whisper White. The DSP is Cheerful Treat (a hostess option). I added the Die cut leaves and used Seam Binding Ribbon for the ruffle at the bottom. I think that's it. As you can see, it's certainly recognizable from my inspiration card in the catalog, but definitely my own as well!

Okay, I can't wait to see what you come up with. And I can't wait to see who will be the lucky winner of the great In Color prize package!
