Hello everyone! I got my box of new preview goodies from the Occassions Mini catalog yesterday and couldn't wait to dig in an create something and then I saw this inspiration photo on yesterdays Utah Divas International challenge. That did it! Had to use it! My colors are different but I think I captured the feeling of the photo! This will be one of the projects that we do at my Watercoloring class in a few weeks! I think everyone will be pleased!
I used Watercolor Paper for the main image and the oval punch. I colored directly on the stamps from Soft Summer (from the Occassions Mini Catalog available April 1st) using Stampin' Write Markers (Lovely Lilac, Elegant Eggplant, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Rose Red, Regal Rose and Garden Green), stamped that onto the watercolor paper and then 
overstamped the outline image (use your Stamp-a-ma-jig) with Black Stazon ink. I then used my Aqua Painter to blend the colors (make sure your pen isn't too wet when you do this, you want the colors to blend, not run!). Then, because I am such an impatient person, I hit it with the Heat Tool to speed up the drying process significantly. I then took the Aqua Painter and touched it directly onto the tip of the Bashful Blue and Garden Green markers to gently fill in some color 
for grass and sky. I did a similiar technique on the Lg. Oval Punch, filling in with Lovely Lilac for the background. I stamped the lilac image on the inside of the card and stamped off twice more to create a watercolor effect there as well. The butterfly is stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White cardstock and colored in with a Pumpkin Pie Marker. The butterfly and Oval stamp are mounted using Stampin' Dimensionals.
