Look at this card I made this morning with the A Rose is a Rose stamp set! I love the romantic "feel" of this stamp set and the way the two color layers blend and work together. This card is one in my new line of Inspiration in Action cards that will soon be available to purchase here on my blog and at various local locations. I began with a card base of Chocolate Chip. The next layer is Natural White cardstock with a border punched with the Scallop Edge Punch and then stamped with a border stamp from All Scallops stamped in Rose Red ink (it's easy to line up using the Stamp-a-ma-jig). I added a layer of Kiwi Kiss print from the Urban Garden DSP collection and a length of 1" Double-Stitched Rose Red Ribbon, tying a bow. The sentiment, from Best Yet, is stamped on a scrap of Natural White cardstock, punched with the Curly Label punch and inked on the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I punched two additional Curly Labels in Chocolate Chip cardstock and turned these 90 degrees, putting the two together to make a mat behind the stamped layer. I adhered this to the cardstock with SNAIL adhesive. The roses were stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Regal Rose as the first layer and Rose Red as the 2nd layer. I added leaves stamped with Certainly Celery and Kiwi Kiss inks. The roses and leaves were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. The inside of the card has another layer of Natural White with a little rosebud stamped in the corner. So, what do you think? Will they sell?
Thanks so much for checking in today. Come back soon, I promise more inspiration!
Blessings, Gretchen

Gretchen, I check your blog everyday to see what you have posted. You so inspire me, thank you. I love this card so much. I have the old one (1999) thought I could use it. Now I see what you did, I have to get this one also.
