I LOVE card challenges! They help me break out of the box and try new combinations of things I wouldn't noramaly use. And, I guess because of my competitive nature, I really enjoy the challenge of making something wonderful within the parameters given to me. The Late Night Stampers Convention Design Team (of which I am a member) issued it's first Sunday Challenge today -- Punch Your Way to a 1-2-3 Card! The rules are pretty simple -- you can use as many punches as you like (you must use at least one) and you can only use 1 stamp set, 2 embellishments, and 3 colors! Well, maybe it's not as easy as you first think!
Here's one of the cards that I posted to the gallery. It uses the Snow Swirled set, 1" Double-stitched ribbon and Dazzling Diamons Glitter for embellishments and the 3 colors are Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. I used the Snow Blossom and Horizontal Slot punches, along with the Top Note Bigz Die and the Big Shot Die Cut machine.
Okay, that was fun! Now here's another. This one uses the Voila Stamp set, Gingham Ribbon and a Ribbon Pull from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware set and the colors Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White. I used the Small and Large Oval punches to make the little tab on the side. What do you think?
The challenge is on for this entire week, so give it a try and post your card to the gallery on the group site. If you're not a member, e-mail me your card and I may post it here on my blog. And, if you're a demonstrator, or would like to become a demonstrator, you might want to join our little group. We would love to welcome you.
I love how you did the tab on this card. TFS

Great work! I really love your Snow Swirled card. I don't think I would have thought of putting brown snowfakes in but I like it!
