Good morning! I made another Masculine Valentine for the LNSC Challenge this week. The requirement is that the card needs to be masculine and have at least one stamped heart on it. This card uses one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Baroque Motifs. I truly think this beautiful flourish could be used for any and every occasion! Here I stamped the flourish in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White cardstock and sponged more ink around the edges before mounting it on a layer of Riding Hood Red. The large heart, from Always, was stamped on Riding Hood Red cardstock, cut-out and sponged on the edges. I added one tiny half-back pearl from the Pretties Kit for just a touch of romance and mounted this on the flourish with Stampin' Dimensionals!. The card base is Chocolate Chip with layers of Riding Hood Red and Whisper White (sponged on the edges).
I added a vertical length of 3/8" Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon which slips up through a Horizontal Slot Punch and is tied on with a Ribbon Slide from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (on sale right now for 20% off). The sentiment is from Holidays & Wishes, stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and I added one final tiny heart, punched with the new Heart To Heart Punch. On the inside layer of Whisper White, I stamped off-the-edge with another beautiful Chocolate Chip flourish!
It's not too late accept the challenge and make a Masculine Card with Heart this week! If you're not a member of the Late Night Stamper's Group, e-mail me a link to your creation and I just may feature it here on my blog! I would love to hear from you!
I hope your day is filled with inspiration and beauty!
Blessings, Gretchen
I absolutely LOVE this card! I'm not into the cutesy cards & this is definitely romantic looking! I would love to receive it & I'm not even a guy! LOL!
Just beautiful!
