I've loved the Bella Blossoms Stamp set since I first saw it in last fall's new catalog and when I saw the new Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper (in the soon to be released Spring and Summer Idea Book and Catalog), I immediately wanted to get them together! For this card, I used three of the DSP patterns, mounted on layers of Pretty in Pink and Kiwi Kiss Cardstock. The middle, paisley layer is punched with the Scallop Edge Punch. The luxurious Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla 3/8" Satin Ribbon is tied across with a bow. The large flower from Bella Blossoms is stamped three times on Whisper White Cardstock -- once in Kiwi Kiss on the rectangle layer, and again in Rose Red and Regal Rose. I cut out the entire flower in Rose Red and just the middle of the Regal Rose layer.
I coated the Regal Rose partial flower with Tombo adhesive and then dipped it in Clear Micro Beads for a wonderfully shimmery and textured surface. Each layer of the flower is mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals for added interest. Finally, the sentiment is stamped in Rose Red Ink.
I can think of several friends who would love to receive this card!
I'm really beginning to love the Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and can't wait to see the other DSP and all the new products in the Spring and Summer Idea Book and Catalog which will be released on January 19th! Only 9 more days to go!
Don't worry, I'll be back before then with more inspiration and ideas! See you then. Blessings, Gretchen
