Welcome back for Day Two of my Control Freaks SWAP's share! I have a feast for your eyes today!
Look at this beauty from Mary Polcin! I wasn't too sold on this stamp set, Autumn Days, until I saw this beautiful card created by Mary. She used Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White Cardstocks, the Scallop Border and Ticket Corner Punches, 1/2" Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Antique Brass Brads, Versamark Ink, Clear Embossing Powder and the Signo White Gel Pen -- simple and elegant! And a woman after my own heart, Mary stamped on the inside of her card as well. Great job, Mary!
Annette Jensen made this awesome Gatefold Card. She used Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock. The DSP is Razzleberry Lemonade. She used lots of punches on this creation -- Modern Label, Large Oval, 1 3/4" Circle and 1
3/8" Circle. She embossed the images on the circles (using the Circle Circus Stamp Set) with Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. The ribbon is 1/4" Black Grosgrain. Look how cool the circles interlock when you open and close the card. Great job, Annette!
Pam Findlay created this card using Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Naturals White Cardstock. The stamp set is Razzle Dazzle and the Designer Series Paper is Razzleberry Lemonade. She used the Modern Label Punch and Rich Regals Brads. To get the cool two-layers on the punch, she also used the new Magnetic Movers & Shapers Shapes which work with the Movers & Shapers Die. To stamp the image, she colored directly on the rubber stamp with markers -- Always Artichoke, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry. Nice job, Pam!
Here's a great Christmas Card from Dawn Olchefske! Dawn used the Christmas Punch Stamp Set; Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper Cardstock; Bermuda Bay ink and Polka Dot ribbon. She used the Curly Label Punch and again layered it using the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die. She applied Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with a 2-way Glue pen. Thanks, Dawn, for this fabulous Christmas card!
Erin Blair created this fall card with the More & Merrier Stamp Set (a Level 3 hostess set). She used the Modern Label Punch with Silver Brads. The cardstock is Soft Suede, Old Olive and Whisper White. She punched tiny holes in each scallop on the Scallop Border Punch and Scallop Circle Punch. She also used the 1 3/4", 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" Circle Dies for a very cool layered effect. Thank you, Erin, for this great fall card!
