Good morning, everyone! The other day, the Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper was sitting on my desk with the beautiful woodgrain print on top and the thought occured to me that this would be beautiful with the Christmas
Cardsinal Stamp set. My goal was to make it resemble an old-fashioned barn. So, today I had some time to put it together and here is the finished product! It's pretty simple in construction -- I used Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla Cardstocks, the Large Oval
Punch, and some Natural Hemp Twine. The coloring on the Cardinal is done with reinkers and blender pens and the bottom edge of the DSP is torn and inked. And of course, a little stamping on the inside is always a sure way to dress up a card and make it special!
This is also another card using my Weekend Sketch Challenge -- IA111. it's not too late to play along -- you have until noon on Wednesday to submit your entry HERE! I would love to see what you create this week using my sketch.
You make one great card after another- love this pretty card! TFS
