Hello everyone! Time for another great Weekend Sketch Challenge! I invite you to play along by using this sketch to create a card or scrapbook layout and then come back and list your creation on the Mister Linky Widget below! I can't wait to see what you create this week!
Here's my first card for you today -- simple elegance with a classic color scheme of Brushed Gold, Basic Black and Whisper White. Stamp sets are Holy Triptych and All Holidays. I used the Finial Press Impressions Folder and the Big Shot to give some great texture to the Basic Black layer. The ribbon is 5/8" Whisper White Satin. I used the Eyelet Border Punch, Versamark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder (don't forget to use your Embossing Buddy!). A single square Rhinestone Brad is placed in the middle of the star for just a little extra bling!
Well, if my first card was elegant, this second one is just the opposite -- playful, fun and bright! What a darling set this new Cold & Cuddly Set is. I used Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, Mistletoe Ribbon Originals, a Rhinestone Brad, the Scallop Border Punch, Large Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, along with Stampin' Dimensionals. Now, isn't he just the cutest little polar bear?

Well, that's it for now! The BIG ControlFreaks Blog tour will begin tomorrow, so you'll want to stop back and save some time to visit the wonderful Christmas Gifts and ideas that the Freaks will be offering. Plan to do a little Window Shopping as you ride the tour bus from stop to stop!
I've got a new Kit-on-the-Go and Tutorial available today as well. Sing, Choirs of Angels is a darling set of 5 cherubic figures that will bring joy and delight to your Christmas decorating and gift-giving. I can almost hear their angelic voices as they sing their heavenly anthems! Click HERE for more information.
I hope to see your creations soon! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
I LOVE the Holy Triptych card! I love the set and am always happy to find a beautiful idea...that I don't have to color! :)

Enjoy playing along, and really enjoy your creations! Especially liked the hemp twine bow on the Rustic Christmas Card!
