Hi everyone! I've got a quick and easy Valentine card idea for you today. They are so much fun to make and because they are quick and easy, you will be able to send them to many on your list come February 14th! This brings back an old favorite, the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. The colors are Real Red, Regal Rose and Whisper White. I sprayed the Regal Rose layer with Shimmer Mist before embossing it (2 oz. rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Shimmer Paint in a small, mister bottle -- shake well before and during use). The window is punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch (yes, it will punch easily through two layers of cardstock). The sentiment is from the new
Well Scripted Stamp set (available beginning tomorrow in the Occasions Mini Catalog). For perfect placement, use the Stamp-a-ma-jig when stamping inside a window. The ribbon is 5/8" Whisper White Organza. The small photo above (click to view it larger) also shows how you can change the order of the layers, putting the Real Red layer on top, for a completely different look. This really is a quick and easy card and oh, so pretty, don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll be back soon!
