Happy Saturday morning, everyone! You know what Saturday morning means ... a new Sketch from the Stamping 411 Operators!
Look at this fun sketch! The large shape leaves lots of room for punched or die-cut images or a special dimensionals flower or embellishment!
I decided to use the large folded butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Die and the Big Shot, of course! I inked up the flourish from Baroque Motifs and stamped with Versamark and then embossed with iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. Then I sponged on patches of Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry Ink. See the great antenna? This is some of the new 1/8" wide Taffeta Ribbon that will be available beginning July 1st in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. I can imagine all kinds of possibilities for this new ribbon!
The sentiment is from a new Level Three Hostess Set (available July 1st). The cardstock colors are Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence. I used some of the retiring Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper. Other accessories include 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, the Scallop Trim Border Punch and Stampin' Dimensionals! And don't forget to stamp a little surprise on the inside of the card!
That's it for now! Check back later this weekend for some more great projects! And be sure to check out the Stamping 411 Site to see what the other operators have created and to upload your own artwork for this week's challenge!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Love how you took the butterfly sample from the catalogue and actually made it look good with your card. Beautiful colors. Love the ribbon on the butterfly!

Gretchen,
I love all butterflies. Love making cards with them. This one is so gorgeous. I'm loving the 1/8" ribbon for the antenna. I'm going to miss the Orchid Opulence. Love the combination with the Baroque Motif on the Butterfly. Is this card standard size ?
Thanks for sharing.
