Gretchen Barron: One Last Day before we say Good-Bye Forever!

Good morning, everyone! Just a reminder that today is the very last day to order from last year's Idea Book & Catalog and to order the retiring colors and other items. Tomorrow, the new IDB&C goes live and some of our favorites will never again be available!

I 've blended the old and the new in these two fun and whimsical butterfly cards this morning. I've used some of the soon to be retired colors -- Green Galore and Bermuda Bay, along with the oh so cute 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. And You'll see here one of the new Hostess Stamp Sets from the Summer Mini Catalog -- Punched Posies. I used the delightful butterfly image and paired it with the Butterfly punch to make super fast, and super cute little dancing butterflies. The great thing about this set is that the butterfly body and antennae are a separate stamp so you can stamp it in black after you've stamped your more colorful image. I also used the Eyelet Border Punch, the Scallop Trim Border Punch, Melon Mambo and Whisper White Cardstocks and Curvy Verses and Best Yet (retired stamp set). I coated all the butterflies with a 2-way glue pen and dipped them in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for extra sparkle and bling! How fun!
