What's a girl to do while she's waiting for some of that glorious new Designer Series Paper to arrive at her doorstep from sunny Salt Lake City? Well, make some homemade DSP, of course! And that's exactly what I did for my two cards today. I created my own DSP using the Punched Posies Stamp Set (a level 2 Hostess Set from the Summer Mini Catalog) and several different inks -- Melon Mambo, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Certainly Celery!
In addition to Punched Posies, this first card uses the All Holidays Sentiment Stamp Set, 5/8" Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, the Eyelet Border Punch, the Scallop Circle Punch, a Rhinestone Brad and Stampin' Dimensionals!
For this second card, I've used the Hope Happens Sentiment Set along with 5/8" Real Red Satin Ribbon, 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds, the Scallop Border Punch and Stampin' Dimensionals!
Look at the glitter and shimmer on that butterfly (click on the photo to enlarge). You can even see just a hint of the butterfly peeking out that is stamped on the inside of the card!
Soon I'll have samples of some of the new and beautiful DSP and stamp sets and other embellishments ready to show you! Stop back soon -- you won't want to miss what's coming up! And do you see those fabulous paper birds in the photo below? I've had so many of you write and ask about a pattern for these, that I'm working on it and will have it available soon!
New Sampler's are now available for Designer Series Paper, Simply Scrappin' Kits, Ribbons and Embellishments. Click HERE for all the details and to place an order!
The sampler's are a great way to get all the beautiful, new products without purchasing the entire packages of paper and ribbons.
One More Thing -- tomorrow I'll be listing a HUGE assortment of retired stamp sets, ribbons, papers and embellishments! Everything will be marked down 20-50% off retail. I've priced them to sell and want everything to go! Stop back because the early bird definitely gets the worm with this sale!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Come back soon for more inspiration from the new Idea Book & Catalog!
And it is gorgeous paper. It looks just as good as the "regular" stuff. Great card too.
