Good morning, everyone! I can't wait to share today a new project that I've been working on! I'm going to hosting a new Color Challenge each week on Utah Divas International! UDI is a great group of talented stampers that love to create and love to share. Each week, I along with others on the Design Team, will bring you fabulous inspiration projects using the week's challenge colors. And ... we invite you to join along with us by creating your own projects and linking them back to the UDI blog!
What fun! I am so inspired by color, probably more so than any other thing. So I'm thrilled to bring this new challenge to you each week.
Look at the colors for our first challenge -- WOW. Inspired by this fabulous bedding set found online at Nieman Marcus, I was blown away by this color combination -- Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Pretty in Pink. Remember, this is a color challenge. We provide the inspiration photo so that you can see where our inspiration came from but you don't need to try and create the look or emotion of the inspiration photo -- just use the colors that you find there!
So, are you ready to see what I created using this colors this week ...
Here's my card -- isn't this little girl just too cute! The Stamp Set is Greeting Card Kids from the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.
Accessories include the Big Shot, the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the Northern Frost Decorative Strip (for the snowflakes), 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestone Jewels and Basic Pearl Jewels, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter (lots of it) and Stampin' Dimensionals. Just look at that glitter and shine! I attached a Rhinestone to the center of each glittered snowflake and also to the top of this little girl's darling Christmas tree.
And did you catch where I put the pearls? Aren't they just perfect for the buttons on her coat?
I did the watercoloring using Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pens.
I can tell I'm going to have a great deal of fun with this weekly color challenge. And I do hope that you will enjoy the inspiration it brings.
Remember to visit the UDI blog to see what the other Design Team Members have created and to link your own color projects for this week's challenge. Deadline for submission is midnight on Sunday, September 20th.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and sharing a little inspiration with me and my new Design Team members!

Gretchen, great job on the card. Love the glitter, pearls and rhinestones. Great color combination. Love how it all comes together. The snow flakes add the finishing touches to the card.
