Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you! Finally, we are getting some spring-like weather and it is just beautiful! I'm posting my Stamping 411 post a little early today. So, if you're seeing this before 6 PM Friday evening, just note that the 411 blog post and the other Operator cards may not be up yet. Be sure and come back to catch them later if that's the case -- I know it will be worth it!
I decided to dust-off a technique that I haven't used for quite some time -- these adorable little pansies that are created with Stampin' Up! Shimmer White Cardstock and the Butterfly Punch. For more details on how to make these fabulous flowers, see my original post HERE.
Today's card uses the Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper along with Poppy Parade, Whisper White and Old Olive Cardstocks. Other embellishments include 5/8" Satin and Organza ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals!, Glimmer Brads, Basic Adhesive Pearls, the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch and Scallop Circle Punch.
Here's this week's Measurements ...
- Layer One -- Poppy Parade Cardstock cut at 5.5 x 8.5", scored and folded to form the Card Base.
- Layer Two -- DSP cut at 4 x 5.25"
- Layer Three -- Poppy Parade Cardstock cut at 2.5" square (you can hardly see this layer -- it kind of got covered up). I punched the side of this layer with the Border Punch and added Basic Pearls between each scallop.
Layer Four -- Whisper White Cardstock cut at 2.25 x 2"
- Layer Five -- Poppy Parade Cardstock cut at 2.25 x 3.25"
- Layer Six -- DSP cut at 2 x 3" -- apply flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellishments!
- Inside of Card -- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 x 5.25"
Well, my friends, I think that will be it for today! I hope you have plans for a wonderful weekend that includes some stamping therapy!
Do be sure to visit the Stamping 411 blog to see the other Operator cards and to play along with this week's challenge! We love seeing your work!

Gretchen, I've seen these pansies before and have been wanting to do them for a long time but lacked a layout inspiration. You have finally given me that inspiration. Thanks so much for creating such a lovely card!
