WOW!!!! Look at what you get when you do the Floating Reinker Technique with the new (available May 1st) Fabulous Florets Stamp Set!!!! Isn't this gorgeous! I've been waiting for a new stamp set with line-art images and this is the one, baby! It's nothing short of .... fabulous!
The Floating Reinker Technique is so quick, easy and fun that you'll definitely want to try it if you haven't already. Stamp your image with Black Craft Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and heat emboss with Black Embossing Powder. Spray 3-4 times with a fine misting of water and then "drop" the reinker onto the image. Before your eyes it will float, spread and morph into these gorgeous creations. Let them dry for a couple of hours and then cut them out and attach to your project with SNAIL adhesive or Stampin' Dimensionals. I used Daffodil Delight (on the center of the flowers), Poppy Parade and Elegant Eggplant inks for these flowers! The leaves are stamped and then stamped-off again with Old Olive ink.
Cardstock colors are Daffodil Delight, Elegant Eggplant, Poppy Parade and Whisper White. Other supplies and accessories include the Big Shot and the Petal Square Impressions Folder, the Eyelet Border Punch and 5/8" Satin Ribbon in Daffodil Delight.
I stamped another leaf image and attached one more cut-out flower on the inside of the card! I just love my new Poppin' Poppies and I hope you do to!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today -- please visit again soon for more ideas and inspiration!
Ooh! I love this technique, too...I need to refresh my skills and give it a whirl. Beautiful card, especially the color choices for your flowers. So spring-y! TFS

Love the flowers...but it needs a die cut or punch. I don't like to cut. I've done many pansies with the butterfly punch and re-inkers and these flowers are fabulous...maybe Stampin Up will come out with a punch to match.
