Hello everyone and welcome to a new Saturday Sketch Challenge from the Stamping 411 Operators!
We have a square card for you this week! I just love square cards! It's just nice to have a little extra room when you're working on something special. This sketch would also work well for a scrapbook page! Now there's a challenge for you!
For this week's card, I used the InColors Designer Series Paper Stack, Beyond the Garden DSP, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plumb, Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White Cardstock (there's nothing like getting ALL the purples in there -- LOL). I also used 1/2" Polka Dot Ribbon, Basic Pearls, the Big Shot with the 3.5" and Butterfly Dies, the Beautiful Wings Embosslet and the 2.5" Circle punch. The Stamp Set is Herb Expressions and I added a little coloring with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.
- Layer One -- Elegant Eggplant Cardstock cut at 5.25 x 10.5", scored and folded to make the Card Base.
- Layer Two -- Perfect Plumb Cardstock cut at 5" square.
- Layer Three -- DSP cut at 4.75" square -- add ribbon, circles and embellishments!
That will do it for tonight! Don't forget to check out the other Operator Projects at Stampng 411!
If you're celebrating Easter or Passover this weekend, I hope you have a blessed holiday! Happy weekend and Happy Stamping!
This is stunning Gretchen! I am loving how you used the double pearls to create the butterfly's body/antennae.
