If you're anything like me, you're always in need of some quick thank-you notes that can be sent for a variety of occasions!
Never fear -- here's a great idea for some bright and cheery cards that can be used throughout the year! I cased these cards from an idea that I saw on Pinterest!
I used quite a few soon-to-be retired products in these cards including the 1/2" Polka Dot Grossgrain Ribbon, The Curly Cute Stamp Set, The Printed Petals Stamp Set, the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder (really going to miss this one) and two retiring colors (More Mustard and Pretty in Pink).
The colors used are Basic Black, More Mustard, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Marina Mist. Here's the Recipe:
- Layer One -- Card Base cut at 5.5 x 8.5", score and fold in half.
- Layer Two -- Basic Black cardstock cut at 4 x 5.25" -- run through the Big Shot with an Embossing Folder of Your Choice
- Layer Three -- Cardstock cut at 4 x 2" (coordinate color with the Card Base). Trim Edge with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Attach to Layer 2 and adhere a strip of ribbon down to cover the top edge. Stamp and Punch a flower -- attach with Stampin' Dimensionals. The center of the flower is a 3/4" circle punchie (embossed with Square Lattice Embossing Folder) and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Inside of Card -- Cut Whisper White Cardstock at 4 x 5.25" -- I stamped one of the Flowering Flourishes with coordinating Ink Colors.
Well, I think that will about do it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and I do hope you'll come back soon for more Ideas and Inspiration!

I absolutely love NOT having snow anymore & enjoy the bloom of new flowers. My least favorite part of Spring is the allergies!
