I told you I'd be back! I'm so glad it's finally SPRING! Whew, what a winter we've had! And to welcome spring, some special Thinking of You cards for some special folks in my life. I loved creating this card -- it's simple but oh so pretty in the soft colors of Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party! I actually created two different cards using different color hues as the primary colors. I'm in love with both of them!
Stamp Sets include Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop, Sassy Salutations and Petite Petals. Accessories include the Big Shot and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Bird Builder Punch, Blossom and Pansy Punches, Ruffled Stretch Trim and Candy Dots. See the thumbnails below for a complete list of all supplies and tools!
The envelope liners were created with the Envelope Liner Framelet Die and the beautiful Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, available only until the end of March as a ***FREE*** Sale-a-Bration item!
And, of course, a little extra "somethin'" is stamped on the inside of the card!
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed creating it! And even more importantly, I hope you ENJOY this first day of SPRING!
*** BLOG CANDY OFFER *** And to celebrate SPRING, I'm offering a little bit of Blog Candy today! Leave me a comment telling me why you are glad that spring is here, or a favorite spring memory, or anything spring-related, and I'll put you in a drawing to receive a set of 4 of these cards, along with matching envelopes! Your cards are very pretty. My reason for loving spring is that I got married on the first day of spring back in 1981. Tomorrow will be our 33rd anniversary. Where does the time go?

My daughter was born on the first day of Spring in 1973! That's a wonderful memory. I'm so glad you're feeling better and posting such pretty cards.

Oh happy day Gretchen I found a way to comment on your lovely card for Spring! Spring brings many flowers such as the daffodils and tulips that are so welcoming! The two choices are great for a spring card. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies. Welcome Spring and welcome back! I'm glad Spring is here so that we can enjoy being outdoors when not card making!

Your cards are fabulous!!!! Love the colors and design. I live in CA and we have not had the long and trying Winter that many of you have had, but I've hung out my Welcome Spring flag even though we have already been having Spring-like weather this past week. Spring (and Fall) are my most favorite Seasons....Spring because it is totally a full regrowth and beauty that we all miss during Winter. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cards!

Love your cards, Gretchen. I love Spring because the lilacs bloom in Spring (and the iris and tulips and the first roses). The most beautiful and fragrant season of all!

Awesome so awesome! My fav thing about spring is it's the beginning of new life. The cold, dreary days of winter are coming to an end. Soon the grass will be turning green again, flowers will begin peeking through their winter graves and the colors of spring will be with us! It also reminds me that Easter is quickly approaching and I am ever thankful for what God has done for me! :) Thanks for the opportunity to win your blog candy and for sharing these "life-breathing" cards!

Glad to see you back. Have missed seeing the posts. Spring is a new start. All the wee animals born, nature coming back to life from dormancy. Makes it beautiful, refreshing, and is just the best.
