Hello everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all who are mother's, grandmother's, daughter's, pet-mom's, step-mom's, function like mom's and ... well just to EVERYONE!
I want to share with you the card that I made for my mom this year! I wish I could be with her but sending a card is the next best thing, right (along with a phone call later today).
This beautiful Lattice Die is retiring so I wanted to use it at least once more. There are so many things that you can do with it, including framing it with the Window Frames Framelits -- such a perfect fit! My mom loves yellow and pink tulips so that provided the inspiration for my color choices.
The Stamp Set is Blessed Easter (with the sentiment cut off). I colored the tulips in with an Aqua Painter and ink colors of Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. The ribbon is 1/2" Seam Binding in Daffodil Delight and Basic Pearls add the perfect finishing touch, don't you think?
This is a square card which measures 5.25" square when finished (cut the card base from Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock at 5.25 x 10.5, score and fold). The background Designer Series Paper is Watercolor Wonder from the Occasions Mini catalog.

That's it for today. I hope your day is magical and wonderful and spent in the embrace of the family that loves you! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll stop back soon for more ideas and inspiration!
Beautiful card for your Mom! Love it! I too love the Lattice Die, but I have plans to just keep using it! I like the idea of the Windows over the Lattice, I am going to have to try that one!
Thank you for sharing your lovely card!
