Okay ... be honest ... are these little guys adorable? I think I've fallen in love with my new Bendy Bears Dimensional Cards -- they have such personality and style!
They're not realy little, either -- when you stretch out their bendable legs, they measure a full 14" tall. When the legs are folded up, the bears will fit inside an envelope which measures 8.5 x 5.5".
And they are actually cards -- they each have an attached card base so that you can send your own personal message. And once they deliver the message, they will continue to look soooooooo cute sitting on a shelf, their little legs dangling as if they are dreaming the day away!
The Bendy Bears are now available as a Card Kit ($14.95) which includes everything you need to create both the girl and the boy bear ... or if you wish, you may order just the tutorial ($5.00) which includes a full 15 pages of instructions and dozens of photos to help you create your own Bendy Bears.
When ordering the kit, please note that the actual DSP pattern and color, the ribbons and the buttons may be different from what is pictured. You can actually specify the dress color for the girl doll by clicking on the option boxes below (pink, yellow, purple, blue, green, razzleberry).
If ordering the kit, you will will receive all the punched pieces, die cuts, ribbons, buttons and trims needed to make both a boy and a girl bear. You will also receive (via e-mail) the 15 page Detailed Tutorial. You will need the following tools and supplies: SNAIL adhesive, Sticky Strip or Fast Fuse Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals!, Paper Snips or scissors, Bone Folder, Pencil or Pen, White Signo Gel Pen, Black Stampin' Write Marker, Sponges and Sponge Daubbers and Ink Pads (Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip and Night of Navy). The kit DOES NOT include envelopes but 5.5 x 8.5" envelopes are readily available at many stores.
If purchasing the Tutorial Only, you will need the following punches: Extra Large Wide Oval, Small Oval, 1 3/8” Circle, 1 ¼” Circle, 1” Circle, ½” Circle, and 1 3/8” Square. Also needed are the Big Shot (or other Die Cut Machine), Circle and Oval Collection Framelits, and the Delicate Designs Textured Embossing Folder. In addition to the tools and supplies listed in the previous paragraph, you will also need Basic Adhesive Rhinestones, Buttons, Ribbon, Cardstock, Designer Series Paper, and a Paper Trimmer or Cutter.
This is a fairly easy project to assemble and beginners should have no problem completing both cards (if purchasing the kit) in less than an hour.
Shipping and handling to the continental US is included in the cost of the kit. Although I can ship internationally with this kit, please note that additional postage charges will apply and may be prohibitive (international mailing rates have risen drastically in the past year)! E-mail me if you have questions.
Obviously these cards would be perfect for children's birthdays, get well, "I Love You" cards, or any special occasion. But I think these two would bring a smile to any face, regardless of age. My great aunt who just passed away a couple of weeks ago at the age of 95, collected teddy bears and I can just imagine her reaction had she opened up an envelope and these cuties came tumbling out -- she would have been delighted! I think she had something to do with the inspiration for this cute couple. The bears can be positioned in severals ways and will sit on a shelf.
I hope you've enjoyed meeting the new Bendy Bears! Thanks so much for stopping by! You can order below by clicking on the drop down menus, making your choices and then selecting the "add to cart" button.

I LOVE these little guys. I ordered the tutorial last night and as soon as I received the email with the instructions I got out my punches and cutter to cut out all the pieces. I was up bright and early this morning to do the final cutting and sponging. My bears are done! They are just too cute sitting on my table. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us.
