I love color! You will probably get sick of hearing me say how much I like, no, LOVE, color! For me, that's where the creative process begins ... with beautiful color. Whether I'm papercrafting or fabric crafting, it all begins with the color! And then I like to add the images and the textures and the embellishments and see where it all will take me. It's so exciting and interesting to see how the projects emerge, don't you think? Sometimes you end up in an entirely different place than where you thought you were going. And that's ok ... often those are the best projects of all!
I have a little gift to give to you today. I had to do something while I wait (not so patiently) for my new Stampin' Up! stuff to arrive since I just joined back up last week! So, today I have this handy-dandy color chart to share with you. What's so cool is that when you click on each color, it will take you to all the products in the current catalog that coordinate with that color -- ribbon, Designer Series Papers, embellishments, everything.
Let's say you're working on a card that uses Peekaboo Peach, Berry Burst and Old Olive. All you have to do is click on those colors and instantly find out which products coordinate. Let's try it out!
Instantly, you will discover that Peekaboo Peach has 3 coordinating ribbons, acrylic shapes and the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. When you click on Berry Burst, you'll find that, in addition to cardstock and ink, there are a TON of product that coordinate with this delicious color. 4 DSP collections, 2 different ribbon styles, washi tape and multiple embellishments. WOW ... we hit the jackpot with that one. Now for the classic, Old Olive! As predicted, there are multiple coordinates -- 4 Designer Series Paper Collections, 4 Ribbon styles, washi tape, embellishments and more!
How easy is that? I can only imagine that I will be using this handy tool with each and every project I create. No more pouring through the catalog to look for coordinates, they are all sorted out for you at the pop of a button! And, if you see something you want (or need) while you're exploring the colors, you're already in the Stampin' Up! store and it's super easy to click on items, add them to your cart and finalize your order. Boom, bam, bing ... those products will be in the mail to you lickety-split!
I hope you have fun exploring all the colorful products that Stampin' Up! offers. Don't forget to leave me a comment and tell me what you think and how you are using this new tool! I can't wait to hear from you!!! And, if you decide to use that delicious color combination above in a project, leave me a link in your comment. You never know when your artwork might appear on my blog (well, yes, you will know because I will contact you first, but hey, it will still be a surprise, right?
