Hello everyone and Happy Saturday to you! I have a special treat for you today! I have fallen in love with the Tea Room Suite from the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog! It has a Stamp Set, Coordinating Framelit Dies and Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, Vinyl Stickers, a card kit and more! All have beautiful floral images in lovely, soft colors! You might say it's just my cup of tea!
As you may know, I also do sewing and quilting and sell many of my things on Etsy as well as here, on my blog. I was so inspired by the Tea Room Suite of products, that I've created a Tea Cozy and set of Mug Rugs that coordinate with the images and colors in the Stampin' Up! Suite! I've also created a special little card for today (more projects are coming, I promise) that holds a tea bag and can be used as an invitation for someone special to join you for a special Tea Party!
I'm so excited, I don't even know where to start! Let's start with the card! It measures just 3 x 4" but it has a little pouch inside to hold a tea bag! I created a coordinating envelope using the Envelope Punch Board. The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana and the envelope is made from the Designer Series Paper. I love the way the contrasting print on the other side of the paper shows through as the inside flap of the envelope! Just one of the many benefits of having double-sided paper! As you can see, I've used the coordinating Ribbon, along with the Framelits and the Detailed Trio Punch. For a complete interactive and printable PDF with all the supplies listed and many more photos, click HERE! As always, you can click on any thumbnail photo and it will take you to my Stampin' Up! store where you can find out more details about the products or even place an order 24-7! You can also click on any picture in the scroll bar below -- How cool is that!
And, as a special treat for you, I've created a TUTORIAL so that you can see exactly how to make this cute little Tea Pouch Card! Enjoy! It is my gift to you!!!!!
And now for the coordinating Tea Cozy and Mug Rugs! The Tea Cozy measures approximately 10 x 13" with a diameter of 9". It will accomodate a 4-6 cup Tea Pot but make sure and measure before ordering. The colors coordinate perfectly with the colors of the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper -- Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. The embroidered tea cup and flowers are surrounded by the phrase, "You, me & a cup of tea"! It is made of 100% premium quilting cotton and has a layer of 100% cotton batting inside to help insulate your tea pot and keep the water warm longer. It is fully lined and has a ribbon pull tab on the top with a darling ceramic bead. There is also a pocket on the front that will hold a few extra tea bags to get you through the afternoon.
The coordinating set of two (2) mug rugs are oh, so cute! They have the same embroidered tea cup and flowers and are constructed with the same fabrics. Measuring 7 x 11", they are perfect little placemats to make your afternoon of tea even more special. All items are machine washable however I recommend laying them flat to dry and touching up by pressing on the non-embroidered side of the fabric. The Tea Cozy sells for $24.99, the Two Mug Rugs are $22.99 or you may purchase the complete set (Tea Cozy plus two mug Rugs) for $42.99. Shipping and Handling are extra. Each will be beautifully handmade just for you with great attention to detail. You can place your order by clicking on the PayPal button below or visit my ETSY STORE!
Well, that's it for today! Do remember to download the TUTORIAL for the Tea Pouch Card! And I do hope you'll stop back again soon. So many ideas are swimming around in my brain. I can't wait to share them with you here on Inspiration in Action!
Beautiful!

Gretchen, I love your project. Would you please clarify for me how you scored the smaller piece in step #3. I cannot figure it out. I want to teach this at my stamp club this Saturday. Thank you!
